Margaux Ch 讲师的个人介绍

Hello, I’m Margaux!

I’m a French-American artist and photographer based in Portugal, and I work across photography, painting, video and mixed media.

I studied Fine Art at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Art de Bourges in France, and since graduating I’ve worked professionally across photography, contemporary art, archives, exhibitions, publishing and creative production. I’ve had the opportunity to work within art galleries in Paris and alongside photographers and artists including Sonia Sieff, Jeanloup Sieff, Matthieu Salvaing and Lachlan Bailey.

At this stage in my career, I’m particularly interested in sharing what I’ve learned through art school and my professional experience with the next generation of artists.

I love helping students develop their own ideas, discover artists and references, experiment with different approaches and build confidence in their own visual language. I can also help with photography projects, portfolio development, image selection and sequencing, visual research and preparation for art-school applications.

My approach is personal, encouraging and curious. Rather than teaching one particular style, I want to help each student understand what interests them and develop their own creative voice.

I teach in both English and French, and I welcome students from different backgrounds and levels of experience.
