Hello, my name is Teresa, welcome to my page. I have loved working with kids since I was young and helped my mother run a daycare. I also fell in love with art throughout my schooling, so I decided to combine the two and went to Nazareth University for Art Education. I completed both my bachelor’s and master’s degree at Nazareth, becoming certified to teach K - 12. I have taught in a variety of classrooms in the past 14 years, art, special education, and substitute teaching in whatever class I was needed. The past 5 years I have been teaching Preschool and have so much fun. I enjoy seeing the lightbulbs go on when someone learns something new. I started teaching English on-line last year with adults and have found it very fulfilling. My teaching style is very calm and inclusive; I try and provide multiple ways of teaching the subject to really make sure the concepts are fully understood. As a visual learner myself, I understand that not everyone can learn by just reading and writing. I am also fine with switching things up if I see the lesson I have planned isn’t working, I am a flexible palm tree. I can’t wait to see you in my classroom so we can expand your knowledge.
