Hi, I'm Mira!
I've been teaching English for over 4 years, working with students aged 9 to 14 as well as teens and adults from 16 different countries.
I grew up in Australia, which is where my love for English really started.
I'm a certified IELTS and TOEFL iBT coach (certified by ETS and IDP), and I help university students and working professionals prepare for these exams.
My teaching style focuses on practical, real-world usage — even grammar lessons are built around how you'd actually use it in daily life. I also help students improve their pronunciation and accent through British English. Classes are conducted mostly in English, so it doubles as great immersion practice.
Alongside English, I also teach Bengali, which I have learned from my dad.
I've been studying Japanese for 3 years myself and passed JLPT N2, so I'm comfortable with everyday conversation as well as reading and writing. And honestly, I'd love it if my students taught me something useful in return!
