Hello
My name is Malcolm. I'm from England and have lived and taught English in Japan for over 30 years. My studnets tell me that my lessons are engaging, fun and that they always find them useful.
In my free-time, I enjoy cooking and baking, playing the guitar and long-distance running. I have run many full-marathons including Tokyo Marathon 5 times.
Whatever your requests, needs or objectives are for learning or practicing English, I am confident I can help you. I use various activities, tasks and roleplays to make the lessons interesting and useful for you.
I have taught many different students; adults, business people, school children and young learners. I have also taught in many different places aroud Japan, at schools and companies.
If you are studying towards passing a test or improving a score, I can also help. I am a speaking examiner for Eiken, Cambridge, and TEAP. As well as practice, I give you lots of advice and tips for passing tests.
I am also a Teacher Trainer for Cambridge University and from time to time work on Teacher Training courses for Cambridge University.
