Hello, my name is Shalati and I hold a TEFL certificate and have an LLM Corporate Governance & Law Grad ICSA Masters degree. I enjoy reading books and cooking. I have spent the past five years during my university studies assisting my classmates in breaking down any academic concepts they found challenging before exams on a topic of their choice like bookkeeping.
Additionally, I volunteered every other Monday with Friend’s International from January 2013 to April 2019. The main focus of the group is to help international students practice their English and to understand the British way of life. My role as a volunteer included assisting international students from non-English speaking countries to improve their English language speaking and listening skills. During the events, a volunteer like me would help the students pick a topic for the table to discuss in English during the event.
