Hi, my name is Nicolene, my students call me Nici. I am from South Africa and I absolutely love my country. It is diverse and it is beautiful. I love sharing my culture with my students and also learning about my student's own country and culture. It is inspiring and it brings us closer together even after our very first conversation. I have traveled and lived abroad for many years, but decided to come home to be with my family for a while.

I have 4 years of teaching experience in Taiwan, teaching ESL to all ages and many different levels of English. I taught kindergarten and elementry school at private schools for my time living in Taiwan. I was also private tutoring many students of many different ages whilst I was there. 

I am an enthusiastic and motivated individual. Kind and patient, with a lot of love and respect for anyone wanting to learn a new language. I love working with my students. I believe communication is essential in all working environments.

My lessons vary from student to student, as I fully understand that all students have different skills, learning abillities and goals for their future. I create lessons according to whom I meet. I like to see them progress so we work in a fun and respective environment where we feel comfortable. It does not matter if your level is beginner or intermediat,. I can help you improve your language skills. I also offer training as homework if needed, if the student wants to learn outside of our class. Let's have fun together and learn together to reach your goal soon.
