My name is Claire. I live in Tokyo, Japan.

I have been in Japan for around 5 years now, and I speak fluent Japanese (I have JLPT 1).

I love travelling, cooking, and reading. I enjoy going to the gym, and I practice yoga. 

I also like to become friends from people from around the world !

My teaching style

I really believe that the best way to learn a language is to relax and have fun !

Please make a lot of mistakes so I can correct you and help you improve. 

The best way to improve speaking is to practice a lot, and I am here to help you. 

What is a lesson like ?

If it is your first lesson with me, I advise you to take my Counselling lesson to talk about your goals and determinate your current level before doing a lesson together.  
  • I will send you a pdf before the lesson with some material. If you have time, please read it in advance. If you are a beginner you can also check the vocabulary you do not know so the lesson goes smoothly.
  • During the lesson, please feel free to ask me a lot of questions and do not be afraid to talk !
  • After the lesson, I will send you some additional material or exercices (optional). You can send me the answers on Cafetalk and I will correct them.
