Hello! I am your piano tutor, IZUMI. I will teach you piano lessons from Italy, a country known for opera!
Piano is a popular choice for an extra-curricular activity. No wander, because it will bring you many positive outcomes into your daily life!
1. Relaxation
I have seen many people start practicing the piano because of this. It is so relaxing to play your favorite music piece, is not it? When you play your favorite piece, a short phrase, or even place a finger to one key, with your full heart in it, it will excites your soul.
２．Discipline and endurance
Musicians are skilled in endurance. Perfecting any music performance is a long time-process, which requires hard work and endurance. Playing the piano requires you many finger movements which you will not encounter in your everyday life experience. How many people read scores and speak the music language on daily basis? Playing the piano also requires you to train your ears. It is hard to train and learn everything at a same time.
３．Brain Stimuli
It can be possible that you can grow your brain through practicing instruments? I think so, because playing the piano is a highly multi-sensory activity. Doing anything complicated with your fingers also activates multiple brain parts. It is always great to sit back and relax while listening to the music, but I believe playing a music piece will never be more fulfilling!

Please do not hesitate to reach me out, even if you do not read music or too busy to practice regularly. I am really patient (as I grew up learning piano!). I will welcome energized, free-spirited children! Let’s enjoy practicing the piano together!
◎Lesson Details◎
＊Music Lesson for Children（Including high schoolers）
Children both who have, or do not have, a previous experience of learning piano, are welcome to take my lessons! You can take my lesson once a week, just like you would in the offline piano lessons.
・We can learn both the piece of your choice and some texts to learn basic skills and techniques.
・We can practice just one piece which you would like to master. (It can, but does not have to be a classical piece!)
・music and movement class (Rhythmic) and piano practices.
・Solfege and other music lessons.
・Want to use texts in Italian.
…and so forth… I can accommodate to your needs and wants, so please do not hesitate to reach me out!
＊Music lessons for adults
I am also happy to teach anyone who would like to keep learning the piano as a hobby. You can take my lesson once, twice, or three times a month, just like you would do with the normal offline piano lessons.

After I completed my master’s degree in piano performance from Musashino Academia Musicae, I have been teaching music group lessons at the child care centres. I have been also teaching both adults and children piano lessons. I also completed a master’s degree (Ⅱ livello) at Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali "O.Vecchi-A.Tonelli" di Modena. I currently live and work in Italy.
