Hello everyone. My name is Itaru Kitahara and I'm a composer. I mainly teach musical theory on Cafetalk. You won't need any prior knowledge of music theory for the lesson. Let's enjoy learning music together!

My major was music composition at the Iwamizawa Branch of Hokkaido University of Education. I learned composition from Satoshi Minami and musical theory from Junichi Nihashi. In music theory, you'll learn harmony, counterpoint, fugue, and style harmony.
