Hello!
My name is John, and I'm a knowledgable certified English Tutor with over 5 years of experience teaching English both as a first language and as a tutor assisting students who were behind in language arts to catch up. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Monash University, and I have a TEFL certificate from The TEFL Academy.
Since I have taught students of all age groups, I am well aware of all levels of English literature education, and can quite comfortably incorporate my experience into regular lessons.I have a strong understanding of all English grammar rules and good essay writing skills. I believe this skill will help students in learning through both conventional means and modern ways.
Teaching is a passion, it requires great patience and effort to be able to teach kids, adults, and teenagers. In my years of teaching, I believe that I have acquired these qualities because teaching for me is not only a profession but a vocation. Teaching English as a profession gave me a sense of fulfillment in making my students improve their communication skills.
Apart from teaching, I like to read books, watch science & action movies, travel with my family and most of all, trying out different cuisines.
