Shoshannah 講師的自我介紹

I am a 30-year old lady who is a British English native speaker. My major is in Ancient History, History of Britain and Europe, and Biblical History as well as Theology and Eschatology. I am currently furthering my studies in the University of Oxford Continuing Education, as of 2019/2020.

I am a Christian believer for more than 20 years now. I have been very fortunate to be able to travel around the world for Biblical purposes with a group of believers consisting of 10 people including me from different nationalities (Asian, European, New Zealand, American).

I have 5 years experience teaching English online to nationalities such as Turkish, Japanese, Taiwanese, and Koreans. I specialise in IELTS Speaking and Writing exams, teaching students the necessary tips and guidelines, using textbooks to learn how to score 7.5 and higher. Besides that, I have experienced teaching TOEFL, TOEIC, and OPIC exams too.

Through the course of 2 years in particular, I have created and established classes specialising in public speaking and interview preparation in the area of Nuclear Safety in particular. As you can see, I have a wide range of experience in specialised field.

Besides teaching English, I major in History that is related to Christianity. If any of you are interested to learn the History of the World, History of World War I and II, I am available. Please contact me. But my biggest passion is to teach and help other people to understand the Bible and the book of Revelation. This is called eschatology.

I have more than 2500 slides on Jerusalem in Powerpoint or Keynote format which I would like to share and teach at the same time with you if you are interested to see the sites of Jerusalem digitally with lots of detailed information that you seldom get from local tour guides.

I also have vegetable gardening skills (horticulture skills)

Thank you so much for today's lesson. This time, the story of the Ottoman Empire and the British army reminded me of the story of Lawrence of Arabia. I've seen him in the movie. This is the last lesson in the Book of Daniel. I'm thankful that I have accomplished this course. The book of Daniel was a short book, but it contained many people, countries, and histories. It was like the small universe and it was a long journey to learn. I've learned a lot from the many movies, videos, maps, and long feedback that you've given to me. One of my favorite lessons is the story of Alexander the Great. I'm a fan of his, so I was surprised to find him in the Bible. The most I've learned is your passionate teaching attitude. Your intellect and deep knowledge led me deep understanding. With many thanks.

Thank you very much for your lesson today. I was happy to meet you. Thanks for answering the questions, although I skipped Daniel 11. I am glad that I learned Daniel 12 in your class. I've been listening with interest to Millenarianism. This thought is important, but not much famous thought in Japan. But the Bible is written over and over again about eschatology. A few years ago, I took your first lesson without any knowledge of Daniel, prophecy, and eschatology. I know how to read the Bible much better than the past. The next lesson will be the last one. It's a little sad at the end because I've learned it for so long, but I'm looking forward to your class!

Thank you for today's lesson. I feel the book of Hebrew chapter 10 is a very beautiful text. I found that Judaism and Christianity are completely different. “Judaism”, “Christianity” and “Islam” have similar foundations and I didn’t know why they fight each other, but I learned from your many lessons that these three are very different in history. At today's lesson, I wondered that Judaism has not eaten sacrifice animals after the burnt offering. In Japanese Shinto, the people eat holy offerings after offering to God. Even in Buddhism, I will eat the offerings later. Many of them are sweets, fruits and Japanese rice wine(sake). Japanese eats God's offering means "God eating together" and this is the origin of Japanese festivals. So when I hear about Judaism's burnt offering and they don't eat them, I feel it's a little waste, but this is a different culture and I know this holy ritual is continued since Moses. Thanks again for today's lesson.
