My name is Akiko Sakamoto.
I do performances in which I sing while accompanying myself on piano, and I also give piano and voice lessons.
Music enriches the days of our lives.
Isn't it just wonderful when you can enjoy the moments in your everyday life by listening to your favorite song, playing the piano, or singing?
I love playing the piano, singing, writing songs, and of course, teaching.
I am also not limited to just one genre and can teach a variety of styles from classical to jazz.
From creating sheet music to sound files, I have set up my lessons so that each student and reach his personal goals while having fun.

〜My Experience with Music〜
I double majored in pop/jazz and classical music at a vocational school for music in Kyoto
After graduation, I began teaching a wide variety of genres including pop piano, classical piano, jazz piano, piano accompaniment, etc.
Now I work at my alma mater as a teacher, and I also teach at music academies and from home.
My students range from 4 to 80 years old and everyone is really energetic and has a good time performing.
I also do performances regularly.
I perform songs, including ones I’ve written myself, in hotels, restaurants, and other live performance venues.
I have released 2 albums of original work and participated in 1 omnibus album. Here is my web site;
