Hi, how are you? It's very nice to meet you! My name is Jihyun(Jiana). I am a native Korean living in Sydney, Australia.
Do you want to
step up your Korean level?
speak in natural and accurate Korean?
talk about more various topics in Korean?
learn standard pronunciation?
Then, why don't you learn Korean with me?

"Well, I'd never thought about it in that way."
Not every native speakers can teach their mother tongue to foreigners. It is difficult to recognise unique features of their own language becasue they are so familiar to native speakers. Luckly, I have linguistic curiosity to keep asking to myself, 'why is it like that?'. I have personal and professional experiences of teaching Korean through volunteer activities at University and tutoring in Japan. From them, I've got to know what kind of difficulties learners have. I just want to be a person who well understands students' questions.
"It's okay, I can understand what you're talking about."
No, it's not enough. At least as a teacher, it supposes to be NOT okay. Language is your first impression.
Some teachers skip correcting your minor mistakes at conversations because they can understand what you want to say. However, teachers are familiar to conversation with foreign speakers. That doesn't mean that ordinary people can understand what you said. Also, why do you pay for the lecture if you can't get a proper feed-back?
I'll not correct every single mistake, but if you repeat certain errors, I will lead you to proper expressions. That is the role of teachers I think.
