Hello my name is Emil. Thank you for taking your time to look at my profile.
About me
I come from a small town in Sweden but now live in Osaka Japan. I have always been interested in languages and culture and especially Japanese. I have Studied Japanese at university and lived in both Osaka and Tokyo areas adding up to 4 years.

I come from a small town in Sweden but now live in Osaka Japan. I have always been interested in languages and culture and especially Japanese. I have Studied Japanese at university and lived in both Osaka and Tokyo areas adding up to 4 years.
I have many interests but the main ones are reading books, watching movies and being with friends and studying, I believe life is all about learning new things so I make a habit of taking new university courses or trying to acquire new skills every year.
I have over the years acquired a lot of diverse
experiences from both work, interests and life. I have Worked in big marketing offices and small manufacturing companies.
I have grown up in the rural deep forest areas of Scandinavia and lived most of my adult life in mega metropolitan areas.
I also like IT and computer engineering. I have in my past built my own computer systems and I am always curious about new technology.
What can you learn with me?
English:
I have many years of experience to teach English to non-natives.
from ALT in Swedish public school to language schools in the Osaka area. I have experience in teaching EIKEN, IELTS and TOEIC to students.
Swedish:
I have taught Swedish to a lot of Japanese nationals over the years. Starting as a volunteer in my university to help exchange students learn the language I have also taught Swedish in Japan on a conversational level.
Swedish culture and society:
Want to learn more of the cold, design driven countries of northern Europe? Then I will be happy to help you.

Swedish or perhaps Scandinavian culture and society and thinking can be both very alien and familiar to many people. Japanese people might recognize more than they think in Swedish culture and social interactions
My lessons
are friendly and full of interactions. Conversation and discussion are the basis of all learning and especially so for language studies. In my lessons we will mainly use a mix of news and articles and free discussion and conversations. I offer lessons for all levels both in Swedish and English. I am a very patient and kind teacher that has a very friendly approach to helping people learn.
Benefits of having me as a teacher.
Being native in two languages I know and understand the difficulties non native speakers face when trying to learn a new language. I will use this as well as my experience of teaching in Japan to create the best possible enveiroment for you to learn.
Why do I teach?
Because there is no greater feeling in the world than to help another person achieve their goals or understand something new. Watching people grow is among the greatest things in this world.
