Olly P. 講師的自我介紹
Greetings to you. My name is Olwethu, from South Africa. I am a qualified Agricultural Economist, currently pursuing my Masters in Development Finance.
Many will describe me as a bubble, outgoing and jolly person. I’m extremely passionate about the things that I love and do. I am a lover of people and love to help people move from where they are to the best version of themselves. I love to expand myself and stretch my capacities. I believe there are no boundaries to growth.
Teaching Style
Let's have a conversation and work on your pronounciation!
My teaching style is versatile depending on my student. This said, I truly believe in an active learning approach. This will be achieved through discussing and delegating. Initially, we just discuss a topic and get comfortable with the vocabulary. Thereafter, I allow you to take charge of the conversation, so you can feel empowered and independent in speaking English.
I do not have a fixed way in which I teach students, given that my lessons will be custom-tailored to the specific needs of a student.
Experience
I have always immersed myself in community upliftment projects and teaching English has always been my way of giving young people in the community an opportunity to progress. Giving that poverty and illiteracy are a huge problem in my country, this has been very important to me.
I formally tutored Math and English to Grade 4 and 5 learners, as part of a community programme. I also chose to spent 3 years of my university journey working as a first years/freshman mentor. Thus I know it is in my nature to hold your hand in this English-learning journey and assist you to reach your greatest potential.

In conclusion, I am here to make learning English an enjoyable experience for you. I am here to help you grow I have travelled to many countries around the globe and although I will be the one teaching English, I know that there is so much for me to learn from all the students I tutor. I am a lover of culture and diversity and I believe this is the perfect platform to embrace that. I cannot wait to meet you.
