SELF INTRODUCTION
My name is Ryan Lansdown. I am a photographer and filmmaker in Somerset West, South Africa. I love meeting new people and helping them where I can. I will do my utter best to make our lessons fun, interesting and inofrmative.
TEACHING BACKGROUND
With a TEFL certification and my current position as a youth leader in my community, I am more than qualified to teach you English.
I have personally helped friends from Brazil, Argentina and China learn English while visiting in South Africa.
TEACHING STYLE
With that in mind, I want to say that my teaching style is personal. With a friendly conversation and various aids such as pictures, music, videos and stories, I like to engage with my students to make what I am trying to teach as memorable as possible.
I am available to teach all ages, ranging form age 5 to 85. Anyone can take my lessons, provided you have a basic understanding of the English language.
My specialities include:
- Grammar
- Interpretation
- Meaning
- Conversational English
- Public speaking
If you need in any other specific area, I am willling to set up lesson plans specifically for you, focusing on what you need.
