Hi there! My name is Danielle. My native language is English, and I live on a beautiful island.
I began teaching Sign Language at a Summer Camp that I held in my home, around 2 years ago. Since then, I have been teaching ASL to children and adults, through online platforms. However, I had started teaching children with Special Educational Needs about 5 years ago, it was during that time that I fine tuned my language skills. I have worked at various schools and on different online tutoring platforms. I am also able to speak Spanish and French at an intermediate level.
I have actually been teaching English for 5 years now!
I love teaching and believe in hands-on, adaptive and interactive learning. I have been teaching for over 5 years. I have a teaching Certificate in Early Childhood Education, Deaf Culture and Diversity & Inclusive Education. As well as, years of training in Special Education, Teaching and using online platforms.
