Hello everyone! My name is Shy, I am a 24 year old writer currently living in the UK. Teaching others has always been a passion of mine, and so has the process of learning other languages! Having travelled a lot in my youth, I have had experience teaching others English and helping them improve whilst learning a little myself.
I have a Bachelors degree in English Literature and am currently finishing of my Masters degree in Creative Writing. Along side this I have done many teaching courses including online and in person teachings, how to learn languages, and text analysis. And in November I will be starting my CELTA course to further improve my teacnings!
Currently, I am also making it my goal to study Korean so that I can communicate more with some of in person students who struggle with English! along side that, I have a passion for learning languages!
Anyone of any age is welcomed to learn with me! whether you want to just practice your English and have a fun chat, or go into a more academic view of the English language, my lessons are a safe space to feel comfortable no matter what level or age you are.
Random facts about me!
- I have a 12 year old German Shepherd who loves to sleep all day
- I am writing a fantasy book series!
- I love sketching
- I used to be a wedding photographer and I also worked in a bookshop!
- I play multiple muscial insturments.
- I like to dye my hair bright colours!
