Good Day! Hi! Howzit! Hola! from South Africa!?
I'm a native English speaker from South Africa. I've been teaching English online and in person since 2021, I grew up in South Africa, where there are 11 official languages, so I know how to deal with different cultures and languages. am an articulate, confident person who relishes challenges. My greatest strengths are my research, communication and interpersonal skills.
I am a bubbly person which makes teaching my thing! I am very patient, flexible and open-minded. I am really keen to be apart of this innovative teaching system, the future is a beautiful place to be living in. Certified TEFL tutor with the skills and expertise to help you with all your English learning needs and I am certified to teach English as a Foreign Language . I like to customize my sessions based on what my students need, and I use online materials instead of relying on a set textbook. During our conversations, I'll gently provide corrections, both spoken and written, without disrupting the natural flow of our discussion. This way, learning feels more comfortable and fluid. In my lessons the emphasis is always on communication in English. I understand very well that as a teacher my role is to facilitate, help and advice my learners and also to be a language resource. My lessons are always learner-centered which means Student Talking Time is prioritized, allowing the students to participate and interact. The main aim of my lessons is for my students to be able to communicate and express themselves effectively, fluently and confidently in English.
My students are important to me, therefore their success is my first priority.
