Hello! I'm Chikita, an English teacher based in Indonesia with six years of experience teaching both offline and online classes. Since 2020, my primary focus has been on online private tutoring, where I've successfully assisted numerous Korean students in enhancing their English skills. Before that, I spent three years working for a reputable English course in the country, gaining valuable experience with students of various ages.

My journey began during my bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature. I started teaching Korean students while working on my thesis, continuing for at least two years before transitioning to a corporate job as a translator. However, my passion for teaching led me back to this fulfilling career due to a strong calling and numerous opportunities.

With years of experience, I've realized the significance of empathizing with students by drawing from my own challenges as a language learner and English graduate. This empathy enables me to tailor my approach to address the difficulties students encounter in their learning journey. I believe in immersing oneself in the language and culture, continually nurturing a genuine interest in language use.

In my class, you can expect a relaxed environment where making mistakes is not only accepted but encouraged as a crucial part of the learning process. I specialize in areas where I have a profound understanding such as: ~ Daily Conversation (Beginner to Intermediate)

~ Mastering English Tenses

~ Customized Grammar Lessons 

~ Casual or customized conversation with a particular topic

~ Reading Practice and Comprehension 

~ Regular classes (Level A1 to B2) The class atmosphere is adaptable, and I appreciate it when students turn on their cameras. However, I understand that there might be times when you need to request an exception, and that's perfectly okay.
