Greetings!

Just a few words about me. I have over 5years of English teaching experience, I am from Nigeria and live in Lagos, I have spent half of my life working and studying in Lagos, it has been a jolly ride. After working for two years, I decided to improve my teaching skills by taking a job as a teacher in a primary school, I went further by using my leisure time to study different literature that will enhance my English speaking, writing and teaching style.


Ø  Credentials/Qualifications:

I have Ordinary National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology. As previously stated, I have been working in the education sector for over 3years.
I have helped candidates prepare for the West African Examination.

Ø  Teaching Style:

I tend to adapt my teaching style to the need of each individual in order to achieve individual goal. My lesson entails a wide variety of topics which include but not limited to:

·         Words and phrase

·         Comprehension

·         Reading articles

I will keep my lesson simple; I will always check for student understanding, I will give lots of   time to practice, I will use visual clues and I will use positive reinforcement. I will guide my students through each lesson and make sure time spent together is rewarding and enjoyable.


Ø  Skills:

I have good communication and interpersonal skill and also detail oriented. A class with me promises to be fun and rewarding. I have worked with people of different background.

 

Ø  My Interest and Hobbies:

I enjoy singing, cooking and cracking jokes. I am also interested in computer, especially surfing the internet and discovering new technologies.
