Hello, fellow lovers of language!
I am a native English speaker from South Africa who resides in Poland. I have taught English here since 2024 (in person and online). I taught in South Africa as well in a variety of fields because I like many different topics.
I have a TEFL qualification to teach English and I have three university degrees (BMusic, BA (Hons) Philosophy and BA Criminology). I just love learning!
I have taught ages ranging from 5 - 60 years old so you will find a teacher who can meet you at your level. Are you trying to pass an English test? Do you have an important job interview coming up? Do you simply want to talk about your life and interests? I can help you!
Feel free to let me know any preferences you have in terms of games, humour, topics and grammar rules. I will be happy to accommodate your specific needs!
My typical lesson structure is: 1) Teach a new concept 2) Play a game to practise the new concept 3) Use the new concept correctly in context 4) Free talk for the last few minutes and suggest new topics for the next lesson.
