¡Hola! Welcome to my profile! My name is Gabriela and I am from Venezuela (South America) but I've been living in the UK since 2021.
I am a native spanish speaker and I bring a rich and varied background to my teaching. With a degree in Business, I began my career in marketing, but a Master's degree in Psychology and work with children with learning difficulties led me to discover my passion for education. I started as a teaching assistant and after a few months I was woeking as a cover teacher in a primary school, teaching subsjects like PSHE, P.E, art, history, and of course Spanish. This rewarding experience inspired me to extend my teaching to adults and teenagers in one-to-one and group sessions.
I understand the challenges of learning a new language - having mastered English myself. My lessons focu on speakeing skills, a common challenge for many learners. I use the ELE methodology, which balances practicing listening, reading, wiriting and speaking. By incorporating realistic scenarios, my goal is to help you confidently navigate everyday situations.
