Hi! My name is Lotavha, but you can call me Lotty. I’m a friendly and patient TEFL Certified English teacher with almost a year and a half of experience teaching adults online. I specialize in helping students build thier confidence in speaking English through clear, engaging, and supportive lessons. Whether they’re learning for work, travel, or simply to feel more comfortable in conversations. I use structured lesson materials and always adapt my teaching to suit different levels and goals.
Teaching is something I’m truly passionate about, I love connecting with people from all over the world and seeing their confidence grow with each lesson. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching anime, and crocheting anime-inspired clothing. It’s a creative outlet that brings me joy and often leads to fun conversations in class!
In addition to teaching, I bring nearly three years of corporate experience, including roles in Risk and Compliance, and Underwriting, which is especially helpful for those looking to improve their Business English for professional settings.

My teaching philosophy is fluency over accuracy. I believe it's far more important to try speaking, even if you make a few mistakes, than to hold back out of fear of being wrong. Mistakes are a natural part of learning, and I encourage open, confident communication so you can build fluency through real conversation.
