Hi there! I'm Leng.
I am from the tropical country of the Philippines, where the beaches are breathtaking and the people are known for their warmth and hospitality.
I'm a mother of two wonderful girls, a devoted wife, and a small business owner. I create beautifully scented room sprays and candles that bring warmth and comfort to every home. I also love reading, especially books that deepen my spiritual walk. Traveling is another passion of mine, and I feel incredibly blessed to have explored several countries in Europe, different states in the U.S., and various destinations across Asia—with Japan holding a special place in my heart.
Being a mother and an entrepreneur has taught me perseverance, resilience, patience, and empathy. These qualities continue to grow every day and have become invaluable in my journey as an English teacher.
I am also currently learning Spanish, which has given me a deeper appreciation of the challenges and joys of learning a new language. It reminds me to be patient, encouraging, and understanding with every student I teach.
I have been an Online English Teacher for 16 years. During that time, I have had the privilege of teaching learners from South Korea, China, Taiwan, and Japan, each with diverse backgrounds, ages, and English proficiency levels.
In my classes, I am guided by two important objectives. First, I strive to create lessons that are fun, friendly, and interactive because I firmly believe that students learn more effectively when they enjoy the learning process. Second, I aim to help my students build confidence in using English in real-life situations. Whether we are having free-talk conversations, discussing current events, exploring hobbies, or talking about everyday life, my goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves while improving their fluency, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and overall communication skills.
I look forward to meeting you in class and helping you achieve your English learning goals. Let's enjoy learning English together!
