Business English & Job Interview Coach | Native British English Speaker | Former Recruiter
Hi, I’m Dan, a native English speaker from the UK. I’ve been teaching English since 2016.
Before I became a teacher, I worked as a recruitment consultant in London. I worked with major international companies like Sony Electronics and interviewed hundreds of job candidates. Later, I built and ran my own businesses. Through this work, I saw how much good English can change a person’s career, and that is why I love helping professionals succeed in English.
I have lived and travelled in many countries, and I enjoy learning about different cultures. I’m interested in business, investing, travel, fitness, history and football. I’m a big Liverpool fan!
My Teaching Background
I have taught English online and in the classroom since 2016, to students from many countries, levels and jobs. I hold a 120-hour TEFL certificate and have taught hundreds of one-to-one lessons. I am also an ILM level 5 certified professional coach.

My background in recruitment is really useful. I know exactly what interviewers want to hear and how to help you sell yourself. I can help you improve your English and also give stronger, clearer answers about your experience, especially for interviews at global companies.
My Teaching Style
My lessons are clear and well-structured, so you always know what we are doing and why.
At the same time, my lessons are friendly, relaxed and full of speaking practice. I believe you improve fastest when you speak a lot. While we talk, I find your repeated mistakes in grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, and help you fix them so your English sounds more natural.
I know many students feel shy about speaking English at first. That’s completely OK! I am patient, and I will help you feel comfortable making mistakes. That’s how we learn.
My lessons are for adults, from pre-intermediate to advanced level B1 - C1. I can follow a set programme or customise lessons to your goals and your job, whichever you prefer. I recommend starting with a trial lesson, so I can understand your needs and suggest the best plan for you.
