Mistakes are 100% OK
Learn Korean by speaking, with a Korean tutor living in Osaka
If the words don't come, that's all right. At your own pace, nice and slow.
Hello, I'm AB, a Korean tutor.
My lessons are a time to chat in Korean about the things already in your days — your favorite dramas, K-POP, what happened over the weekend. While we're enjoying the conversation, the same expressions come out of your mouth again and again.
About me
I'm from Korea and now live in Osaka. I worked at a Japanese company for 15 years, and I also taught a small Korean class in Tokyo for a year and a half.
Things I value in my lessons
1. A place that feels more natural with every mistake
This isn't a place for fixing mistakes. The more you make, the more natural it becomes.
2. I won't rush you
Some days the words just don't come. On days like that, don't think too hard — mix Japanese and Korean and say whatever comes out. Those days, somehow, are the ones with the most laughter.
3. After the lesson, I send you the parts that went wrong, tidied up
I tidy up the expressions that came up that day and the parts that went wrong, and send them to you. Practice with them later, and they become material you can review in the next lesson and make your own.
These lessons are for you if
・You are just starting out with Korean
・You don't get many chances to speak Korean in everyday life
・You want to enjoy talking about dramas and K-POP in Korean, too
・You want to catch your favorite artist's words without subtitles
・You want to try speaking in your own words on a trip to Korea
・Talking with a Korean teacher makes you a little nervous (I can explain things in Japanese, too)
How to choose a lesson
・First time? Start with the free trial (20 minutes)
・For a relaxed chat: "30-Minute Free Talk"
・To learn through drama lines: "Drama Lesson"
・To catch your favorite artist's words: "Korean for Fans (25 minutes)"
I don't know any shortcut to speaking well, either. But time you enjoy has a way of continuing on its own.
If you'd like, start with the free trial and let's just have a chat. I'll be glad to see you.
