Hello and welcome! 🌿
My name is Sarah, and I’m a CELTA-qualified English teacher from Algeria. I’ve been teaching English for several years, working with learners from different backgrounds and with different goals.
I have experience teaching General English, Business English, and IELTS preparation, and I currently teach English online on a one-to-one basis. I enjoy creating lessons that are practical, engaging, and adapted to each student’s needs rather than simply following a textbook.
My teaching style is structured, communicative, and dynamic.
For General English and Business English, I use a task-based approach. We usually spend most of the lesson preparing for a realistic task: listening to language in context, practising it, and then using it in a real-life situation through a discussion, role-play, or problem-solving activity.
For IELTS preparation, I first analyse your current band score, needs, and skills, then build a personalised study plan. Based on my expertise, I’ll determine which skills, topics, and types of practice you should focus on and how we can work towards your target score.
I’m a patient and encouraging teacher, and I always try to make my students feel comfortable making mistakes and expressing themselves. My goal is not only to help you learn English, but to help you feel more confident using it in real life.
