Hey there! I'm a native speaker who hails from Atlanta, USA. I've previously lived in Thailand before venturing to Japan, where I currently reside.
I hold an MBA from University of Phoenix as well as TESOL certification from Florida, USA.
Before teaching in Japan, I taught numerous classes and age ranges in Thailand for Rambi Barni Rajabhat Univeristy and Satit School. I taught Pre-kindergarten, Kindergarten and primary school students. I also held training seminars for MBA candidates, PH.D candidates, as well as Military school attendees. I've been told my teaching style is organic, flexible, organized, and knowledgeable. I am not overly strict, but I am also not a push over. I am open minded but I like the facts as well.
Before working in Thailand, I worked in Atlanta for a Fortune 500 company in the capacity of Manager and Human Resources Trainer for company initiatives for 8 Years.
I've had experience teaching various language and skill levels in Japan including Ube Kosan Technical University, Ube Kosan Chemical co., BASF Toda, and numerous Kindergarten schools.
I'm interested in immersing myself in many foriegn cultures and I weekly attend Japanese tutoring to develop my japanese communication skills.
I attended university in Kalamazoo, Michigan at Western Michigan University and majored in Food and CPG Marketing. After that, attended culinary school in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
I've travelled to 10 countries so far and really lovesexperiencing new cultures. In my free time I really enjoy reading, bowling, watching movies, eating new dishes, and cooking.
