Mika-sensei's 25-minute beginner Japanese lesson is just the right length to avoid feeling overwhelmed but also to make solid progress. I've been taking this lesson weekly for the past few months and have noticed a huge improvement in my Japanese speaking skill and confidence. The lesson pack offers excellent value for those who are serious learners. I'm always impressed by Mika-sensei's warmth and her gentle, friendly manner, which makes me feel comfortable and at ease. She patiently waits for me to answer whenever I am stuck, which I appreciate so much! On top of all this, she uses excellent materials that allow me to practice new grammar points thoroughly, and to work at a steady pace. She also has a great ear, always bringing my attention to mistakes not only in my grammar but also my pronunciation - which is hugely important for an English learner of Japanese like me. 最近、先生と読む3冊目の本でのレッスンが始まりました。今回も先生と相談しながら本を選びましたが、最初の頃は難し過ぎて読めなかった小説も、今ではほとんど辞書を使わずに大体の内容が理解できる程度になりました。発音も直されることが少なくなったので、先生との意見交換に時間をかけられ、韓国語の上達を感じます。これからも先生と一緒に楽しく韓国語の勉強を続けていきたいと思います。
