At first, I didn't know much about Ramadan. However, through a series of her lessons, I gained a much deeper understanding of the unique characteristics of Ramadan in Egypt, as well as Egypt's role and contributions during this important period. The lessons were both insightful and fascinating. It is a class I would happily take again every year during Ramadan.
While politics, religion, and diplomacy are often considered sensitive topics to avoid in conversation, she is able to address them with deep knowledge and insight. I believe it is quite rare to be able to engage in such meaningful discussions in an English conversation class.
