Hello, everyone! I’m Emi.
I have lived in Tokyo ever since I was born.

I am a dental hygienist and a tutor on Cafetalk.
I mainly teach Japanese language to foreigners who study the language, but at the same time, I teach basic English to Japanese people as well.
Once I taught Japanese language to foreigners living in Japan as a volunteer.

Actually, I am also a student learning foreign languages like you.
That's why I do know that studying foreign languages is not easy.

Learning foreign languages is sometimes so hard, but at the same time, it is so important! 

It is one of the greatest things for me to communicate with a lot of people all over the world.
If you speak foreign languages, you can talk with a lot of foreigners.

Manga(Japanese comic books), singing songs, browsing internet, Japanese calligraphy, eating (especially spicy food!), playing video games, cosmetics, chatting with my friends and family, department stores (especially basements!).

For students studying Japanese
I am a native Japanese speaker and I can speak standard Japanese without local accents. I will help you learn Japanese grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary and listening. I often use chat box for students who have difficulties in listening my Japanese during our lessons. 

For students studying English
I will help you learn English basic grammar. My English lesson is for beginners.
I think the best way to learn English is to read aloud.
Let’s practice reading English aloud while studying English basic grammar.
Don’t be afraid if you don’t have confidence in English now.

＊＊About My Available Times＊＊
・I am available 1-5 days a week, but the specific days and times are irregular.
・I add my availabilities several days to 1 week in advance (or earlier if I am positive that I will be able to offer lessons then)
・I am constantly updating my available times and may add availabilities the day before or the same day
＊I have set up my schedule this way in order to be able to offer lessons without having to cancel any of them. I am very sorry about the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
