JUNE UPDATE: Hello CafeTalk Students! I am currently not taking any new students for my lessons due to a much busier schedule over the last month and I will be continuing on this schedule for at least the next few months. Unfortunately, it makes it difficultt to be available and flexible for new CafeTalk lessons. こんにちは、

My name is Stephanie, and I'm a 26 year old Australian woman born in Perth, Western Australia. I recently moved to Brisbane, and now I am traveling around Japan whilst working a little here and there to support my travels.

私の名前はステファニーと申します。オーストラリア人で26歳です。西オーストラリア州のパースで生まれました。最近、ブリスベンに引っ越して、今は日本で少し仕事をしていながら、旅行しています。

Whilst in Japan, I have worked in the Central Office with Nozawa Holidays in Nozawa Onsen, doing bookkeeping, accounts, guest check-ins, and various other tasks. Prior to this, I was a full-time member of the Australian Army for six years, and I worked as an Informations Analyst and Japanese linguist.

今まで日本にいる間、野沢温泉村の野沢ホリデイズで働いていて、ブックキーピングとか事務、お客さんをチェックインするなどのことをします。これより先、オーストラリア国防軍の陸軍で情報アナリストと日本語の言語学者として働いておりました。

I studied Japanese initially with the Army for a year, and then I was picked to conduct an Advanced Language Study Tour (ALST) in Tokyo, Japan for 4 months. After completing this tour, I realised my passion for studying Japanese and the Japanese culture, and I decided to continue on with self-study while living and working in Japan.

最初に、陸軍で1年間日本語を勉強して、それから私が東京で上級言語勉強のツアーを参加するために選ばれました。このツアーを終わってから、日本語の勉強と文化の情熱に気づいて、日本に住んでいて仕事をしながら、自分で日本語の勉強を続くことにしました。

Some of my hobbies include snowboarding, studying Japanese, travel, animals, science, piano, singing, scuba-diving, tennis, soccer, hiking, and various other outdoor activities.

私の趣味はスノーボードや日本語の勉強、旅行、動物、科学者、ピアノ、歌うこと、スクーバダイビング、テニス、サッカー、ハイキング、いろいろな野外活動などのことです。

I also have a passion for teaching others, especially things that I am passionate about, such as Japanese. I am really looking forward to meeting others who are interested in learning Japanese and English.

そして、他の人たちに特に日本語を教えるの情熱があります。日本語と英語を習いたい興味がある人たちにお会いできるのを本当に楽しみにしております。

I am a relatively new teacher, and I would love to trial some lessons and conversation practise with new students so I can find my footing. I am very approachable, friendly, and relaxed, and I am happy to teach you anything you may be interested in, or would like to learn more about. If you have a specific area you would like to focus on, I am more than happy to accomodate to that as well! I am a native English speaker, I have recently completed my TEFL Certificate 5, and I am currently JLPT N3 qualified. I am studying for my JLPT N2 so my knowledge of Japanese sits somewhere between the two levels. I am very comfortable teaching basic Japanese and some intermediate aspects.

英語教授法（サーティフィケート５）を持っていて、現在日本語能力試験のN3も持っております。そして、今N2レベルを勉強しております。
