Hello. I'm mahjong teacher Shingo Shirai.
 
・In charge of the most number of mahjong classes at Yomiuri Culture Centres
・8 years as a mahjong teacher
・6 years of experience as a professional mahjong player
・Total of 14 years of mahjong teaching
 
I'm a mahjong teacher who has taught the joy of this game to hundreds of people.
To win at mahjong, one needs strong application of the foundations, and I excell at putting into words and simplifying even the most difficult concepts.
Please feel at ease considering taking my lessons. 

ーーMahjong class from zero「Beginners」ーー
Mahjong is a game with complicated rules, and it's difficult to understand it well just by reading a book.
In my lessons, I'll convey the most essential rules in an easy to understand way, and we'll be able to learn the joys of playing and winning, while improving our communication and becoming able to naturally learn the detailed rules. Therefore, beginners can also take my lessons without anxiety.
 
ーーHave fun winning at mahjong「Novices」ーー
"I've learned the rules but still can't seem to win."
"I'm not sure how to calculate the points and can't do it well but I still have to."
For such individuals, there are my "8 step process to regain your footing" and "simple and precise point calculation" and other ways of improvement I can teach you from my field of expertise, so you can overcome your area of weakness.

"I'd like to advance in the mahjong community by winning" "I'd like to win in a small tournament" "I want to advance to the top level" "I want to become able to read my opponent's intentions" "I want a reference point for offence and defence" These and other goals are things we can aim for in the more advanced levels.

Private mahjong score sheet evaluation, which can't be done without the experience of having taught hundreds of people.
