I don't speak Japanese, but let's start a fun English learning journey together.みなさんはじめまして。Nice to meet you all. 私は世界中を旅して、英語でたくさんの人と友達になりました。
I have traveled all over the world and made friends with many people in English. 大学で教えていたこともあります。I also taught at university. I'm happy to be on the Cafetalk platform and looking forward meeting you soon. I can't speak, read, or understand Japanese, so all my lessons for YOU are about learning, practising, and developing your second (or third...) language skills.
About me and my work
My name is Esther and I've been teaching in the academic English preparatory classes these last four years at the highest ranked university in Cambodia. It would be great to help and teach you in all areas of English language subjects and topics ‘English-as-a-second Language’. No matter your level, background, or reason.
I am offering a wide range of lessons: are you looking for grammar, fun games, (academic-)writing, conversation, pronunciation practise, travel and world related topics, music, love, politics, art, all main subjects to help you to achieve your learning goals!
Teaching is my passion, and learning should be interesting, informative, and fun so you are constantly engaged. As I love music and theatre, for sure this will also be included in our lesson plans. Having heaps of travel experience all over the world, a wide range of cultural interests - and yes, I have visited Osaka and Kyoto - I feel rewarded knowing if I can improve someone's educational journey and horizon.
It does matter to establish a trusting atmosphere and learning environment through sensitivity and humor to meet and enhance your needs of intellectual, emotional, and professional strengths or weaknesses, as well proficient in involving and motivating to empower you.
Teaching and learning requires a dynamic and interactive process with an appropriate understanding and detail-focused curriculum. I am capable of simplifying lesson plans to improve your confidence, empowerment, development, competence, and curriculum without sacrificing any quality.
I am here for you, whether you are as young as 10 years old to as mature as 80 years young, I am comfortable giving lessons to all age groups.
My lessons on Cafetalk will be designed with the objective of increasing both your confidence level and fluency to speak and express yourself in clear English.
This can be achieved through frequent practice. I know about the hiccups and struggles when English is your second language, how confusing sometimes the differences can be between British English and American English, the grammar and writing rules, sentence-building, pronunciation, and your native tongue.
Let me know what your goals are, and we'll customise a lesson program together for you in order to ensure that your learning objectives are met, there are more teaching methods to practise with. My focus is on what's important for you!

What kind of person am I?
My spontaneous personality can be described as an enthusiastic, inquisitive and a global interested woman. I am devoted, independent, having a flexible attitude with good social and creative skills, keeping practical aims and targets in mind. I flourish in helping others, organising and communicative tasks, spending time in nature, exploring, and traveling.
I love meeting new people so I hope to meet you soon in class!
Patience is a Virtue – The moon and the sun learned long ago that, if each patiently waits its turn, they will both have their chance to shine.
Patience puts us in direct control of ourselves, a powerful aid to success. When we are patient, we give ourselves time to choose how to act, decide, and respond. Patience is something which must be learned and practiced. It isn’t something which comes naturally to us. Those who master patience become more successful than those who can’t.
