Hi, my name is Connie. I am from the United States.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking and talking with people from Japan and other countries. 

I have been lucky to meet people of different ages and nationalities, from Japan, Taiwan and more.

Some students who have shown the most kindness and taught me the most were those who were quite older than me. I was also able to learn a lot from some of them, such as about Japanese lifestyle or culture. 

On a conscious level, I try to treat people equally regardless of age. However, older people have more wisdom, experience, as well as difficulties due to aging. I appreciate learning from older people but also know they need some more support, too.

In addition, some interests of mine are journaling, cooking, exercise, Ted talks, reading and improv acting.

I am happy to talk to you while helping you improve your English ability and fluency.
