Hello everyone, and thank you for visiting my Cafetalk page!
My name is Megan, and I’m from New Zealand. I’m currently living in Kumamoto, Japan, where I work as an English teacher.
I love living in Japan - it’s been amazing to experience the culture, try new food, and learn the language. I’m also very interested in study techniques and language learning methods, so I often watch YouTube channels about how to learn more effectively. This helps me bring fresh ideas into my lessons.
In my free time, I enjoy cycling, bead art, and playing the guitar. These hobbies keep me active and creative, and sometimes I use them as fun conversation topics with my students.
In my lessons, I like to use the chat box feature a lot so you can see new words and corrections clearly as we speak. After the lesson, I provide feedback and notes to help with your revision and progress.
On Cafetalk, I offer English lessons that focus on conversation, confidence building, and practical communication skills. I always adapt to your learning style, whether you prefer casual conversation, grammar support, or exam preparation.

私はメーガンです。ニュージーランド出身で、今は日本の熊本に住んでいます。英語の先生をしています。
日本の生活がとても楽しいです。文化や食べ物、そして日本語を学ぶことも大好きです。勉強の方法や言語学習について、よくYouTubeを見てアイディアを学んでいます。
