My name is Kodai. A. I lived in the city of Irkutsk in Russia for 8 years, from September 2013 to September 2021!
I specialized in Russian language education, having studied Russian teaching methods in graduate school! I will provide you with intensive lessons based on my extensive teaching materials and experience!

I was awarded by the Government of Irkutsk Region in 2019 and by Irkutsk State University in 2021 for my excellent academic performance and research activities.
I also won the second prize (linguistics major category) in the Russian language competition for foreign students held in 2018.

Since Russian uses the Cyrillic alphabet, which is unfamiliar to Japanese, and has six case changes, the learning speed is slower than in English.
Based on the above, if you are interested in learning Russian, especially if you are planning to start from scratch, it is important to persevere, continue regularly and reviewing is also essential.
Therefore, in addition to learning grammar and pronunciation, I also use a lot of simple cartoons and videos related to Russia to absorb Russian culture as well!

Passed the fourth level of the Russian language proficiency test ТРКИ (C2), certified by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

Other than that, I worked as a translation agent and volunteer staff at the Japan Information Center in Irkutsk Oblast.
In addition to my studies, I have been engaged in volunteer activities to introduce Japanese culture to children attending schools in Irkutsk, and in 2020 I received a certificate of appreciation from the Irkutsk State Government for these volunteer activities.
Other than that, I worked as a translation agent and volunteer staff at the Japan Information Center in Irkutsk Oblast.

Even if you start your language study in Russia from zero and take two 90-minute classes for five days a week for ten months, the level of Russian you can reach in the end is usually B1, which is said to be convenient enough in social life. Even if you take private lessons and increase your study time significantly, I think you can just barely reach the B2 level. That is how difficult this language is.
