My name is “Kyoko Watanuki”, so I decided to change my name from “KW” to “Kiwi.”
After graduating from university, I became a newscaster. I worked for a local TV station handling news programs. After I got married and had children, I decided to change my career. I studied Japanese education at graduate school, and taught Japanese for 20 years at the same university to students who wanted to teach foreign languages there. After retiring, I have been working at a business Japanese language school, and I conduct online training for new employees.
 
I am originally from Tokyo, but I now live in the countryside. Growing vegetables is my favorite hobby. I enjoy making and eating delicious food. I love dogs. I also enjoy going on a stroll.
I have a son, but I don’t have any grandchildren of my own. My students are like my grandchildren. Why don’t you come and learn Japanese in a stress-free environment with a Japanese Obaachan (grandmother)?
