Hello, I’m Mako, a vocal instructor & private tutor!
I have been a “vocal instructor for 5 years,” and a “private tutor for 5 years.”
I teach both academics and music with
a conviction to provide “skills that will last a lifetime,” and not just “for show.”

This is why I can’t offer you just
a single lesson that will make you
“improve significantly with just one lessons!” or “you will become smarter in just a single lesson!“...

However, I will provide lessons that will produce proper results
over the course of two months, three months, six months, and so on.

I was never good at academics nor music from the get-go.

But from my own experience,
I am convinced that
“anyone can improve their skills” by
・learning the right way, content, and methods, and
・practicing diligently.



⚫【About My Private Tutoring】
I was interested in children’s mental health and education, so
I majored in psychology at Tsukuba University when I was a student.

In addition to providing learning support during long vacations and after school at municipal elementary and junior high schools,
I also participated in initiatives to help children provide emotional support to each other in the classroom.

I have also worked online as an assistant teacher
at a correspondence high school.

As a private tutor, I have worked with many children with developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, and children who were struggling in school, as well as preparing them for high school entrance exams.


As for my teaching policy, I value the following points:
・I teach according to each student’s learning pace without making them feel rushed.
・We will work on application after students have a solid understanding of the fundamentals.
・I focus not only on the student’s weak points, but also on their strengths and preferences.

I would like to be a teacher who can support students’ “dreams” from
the bottom of my heart, even if it is only from an academic angle.


I myself am a graduate of an integrated junior and senior high school.
(Being a member of the inaugural class at the time, the competitive ratio for women students was about seven times. lol)

I do not offer guidance for junior high school entrance examinations, but I do have experience with aptitude tests and interviews.

⚫【About My Vocal Training】
In order to dive into the world of vocal performances, which I have enjoyed since I was a small child,
I trained under a former SONY music producer and 
studied POPS & ROCK singing and songwriting.

I have learned many skills such as
expression, vocalization, pronunciation, and precise timing through practice,
while performing and recording many live performances.

My lessons are to share the experience and knowledge
I have gained from professionals in this field with you.


Some people often equate vocal music training with POPS vocals,
but they are two completely different things.

What I teach is POPS vocals that helps develop individuality and free expression.

In my lessons,
I organize and teach the knowledge and skills necessary for POPS & ROCK singing one by one,
such as tone control, rhythm, body usage during vocalization, breathing methods, and caring for your throat.

My lessons are also recommended for those who want to become
voice actors or narrators, as it will help you develop your voice with good mic glide naturally.

In fact, when I used to offer in-person lessons,
I taught lessons to underground idols and voice actors who
were active in various media, app games, Netflix, and other media fields.

I have received positive feedback from students that not only my their singing voice, but also their everyday speaking voice has naturally improved after taking my lessons.


I can accommodate anyone from adults to children, professionals to karaoke enthusiasts.

I’ll assess your current needs, and
