Well Hello Hello!
Are you looking to discover, learn, and practice, more natural expressions to level-up your English; use it more naturally?
Or maybe just maintain what you already know?
Right from the beginning, I want to let you know of a couple of important points that you will need to know first about these sessions.
*~*~*~*
First things first: These are audio only classes – no camera sessions.
Active listening is the focus here. You will be focusing on what English actually sounds like when spoken at a natural speed in every-day conversation.
Having your full focus on listening is beneficial for hearing the sounds of English being spoken naturally and at native pace, which, along with strengthening your listening skills, will be an aid in enhancing your pronunciation skills.
It also helps improve your knowledge and experience with grammar, natural expressions and idioms.
Secondly: These sessions are best for English speakers that are high intermediate and above.
The focus here is on enhancing natural conversation and gaining experience with both hearing and understanding, while also correctly using, various general expressions.
Idioms and slang are a natural part of conversation that you may not even think about when it is used in your own language. So, it’s only natural that this will be encountered in the same way in these practice conversations.
Considering these two points, it is best if you already have a strong command of (knowledge, ability to use) English.
If you know your level, this will be B2 and above.
If you feel pretty proficient with your language skill; you can hold a conversation in English successfully and pretty comfortably, with a good speed, then you are likely, at least around, this level, if not higher.
However, if you’re not quite at this point, that’s okay too; I can adjust the conversation to your level. Practicing using English in a natural way is necessary at any level ^^
Third: Regarding Children.
My sessions are designed for casual, free-flowing conversation; this is not the best format for teaching or coaching children, who typically should have some basic structure as they build there communication skills, in my opinion.
So, at the core of these sessions:
- Understand and use naturally constructed phrases and expressions effectively.
- Discover, understand, and learn to use idioms correctly.
Let’s do this by having natural conversation, about any topic that comes to mind.
To truly use English naturally when speaking, you need to practice speaking with humans.
Real, authentic communication and expression, especially in real time, involves nuances, variation, and details that AI (as we all know many people are using nowadays) cannot properly convey.
Relying too much on AI tools can result in you sounding unnatural for many, various reasons, for one:
- The information they give you may not always reflect real-world usage, since real-world usage has nuances (cultural norms, for example) that AI can’t replicate.
Communication isn’t just about the words you say, but how you say them and how they are used, and at times, when they are used.
So, if you are interested in avoiding sounding like a text book, avoiding sounding like an AI chatbot, you prefer to have the ability to sound natural when speaking in English,
then, consider this your invitation ^^
