Hello everyone. My name is Nagano and I currently reside in Kochi Prefecture. Greece has a long history as the cradle of Western civilisation and is an exceptional tourist attraction. Despite this, there are very few places in Japan where you can learn modern Greek. Nowadays, if you speak English, you may not face any issues when travelling, but I decided to start offering Modern Greek lessons in the hope of helping people learn more about the country and culture, and become part of a mutual understanding between the two cultures.
↑ Lindos archaeological site (Rhodes Island) In fact, when I was younger, I wanted to study abroad full-time at a Greek university, but the procedure didn’t work out and I missed the opportunity. Afterwards, I worked for many years in jobs related to food and agriculture. However, when I was living under quarantine from the pandemic which restricted my daily activities, I decided to challenge myself to do what I really wanted to do: take up a career related to Greece, because you never know when something might happen in your life. Through online lessons with native speakers over the last few years, I am convinced that it is possible to learn and improve your modern Greek language skills while in Japan, just like I did. I am committed to helping you achieve your goals by helping you learn Greek. I also offer conversational Japanese lessons for Greek speakers. Speaking on a daily basis is the most important factor to improve your conversational skills. I look forward to speaking with you.
