Hello! My name is James, and I’m originally from the United States. I’ve been living in Japan for over three years and currently work as an English teacher.
 
My lessons are designed to be friendly, supportive, and practical. I believe learning should be enjoyable, and I encourage students to relax, take risks, and use English in real-life situations.
I have experience teaching junior high school students, high school students, and adults, and I especially enjoy helping learners prepare for study abroad programs, travel, and daily communication.
 
In our lessons, I focus on:

  • Building confidence in speaking
  • Clear, natural pronunciation
  • Practical English you can use immediately
  • Cultural tips for studying or living abroad

As a teacher, I am patient, encouraging, and always ready to adjust the lesson to your level and goals. Whether you want to prepare for studying abroad, improve your conversation skills, or simply enjoy practicing English, I’ll be happy to support you.
