My Dad sent me this photo of me and his mum (my grandmother) yesterday.
It was sad for all of us as she passed away in pretty bad and unexpected circumstances while I was living in Japan.
We were very close with her and similar to my grandad (R.IP grandad) they both taught me so much and made me into the person I am today.
While my grandad taught me manual work such as carpentry, painting and DIY (do it yourself), my grandmother taught me cooking, painting and other such things.
When I look back at the great times I had with them, I really what I significant influence they have had on my life, whether or not they realise it.
They were always extremely supportive of the way I chose to live (even when others were not) and I know they would be 100% in full support and proud of my new venture in life.
