Andersen, Mermaids, and more!

Pilar Barrera

Did you know?

赤いろうそくと人魚 (Akai Rôsoku to Ningyo, The Red Candles and the Mermaid), the famous Japanese tale by Ogawa Mimei was inspired by Andersen’s The Little Mermaid?

Andersen’s influence on literature is everywhere: from Oscar Wilde’s The Fisherman’s Soul to C. S. Lewis’s The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe!

Check out my introductory lesson on Andersen and revisit his beloved tales. You don’t need to have an advanced level of English. I’ll adapt this lesson to your needs.
