Have you kept a journal?

Suja

Writing improves with practice.

I find my writing skills become rusty when I take a hiatus in writing.

I’m constantly moving home and decided to maintain a digital journal which is good as it cuts down on paper.

This year, I’m committed to at least 2 writings per week in my digital journal. As I enjoy looking back on my experiences, I tend to attach a photo to each e-journal. In my journal, I’d describe the place, why I was there and my experiences.

A photo helps keep my journal engaging. Each of my journals are kept short but I sometimes find myself wanting to express my thoughts at length.

I also decided to pick a theme for my journals and revolved my reflections around my walks as I love to walk a lot. My walks include walks in a park, garden, a hill, a walk through a museum, a city, a river trail and so on.
