“She’s gone to London.”
“She’s been to London.”

Be careful with these sentences. They sound similar, but the meaning is very different.
“She’s gone to London.” = 彼女はロンドンに旅立ち、今もロンドンにいます。
She travelled to London and she is still in London now.
“She’s been to London.” = 彼女はロンドンに旅立ち、そして戻って来ました。
She travelled to London, and then she came back.

“She’s gone to London.”
あなたが出勤したとき、上司が自分のデスクにいないことに気づいたとします。上司がどこにいるのかわからないので、同僚に尋ねます。
Imagine that you come to work, and you notice that your boss is not at her desk. You don’t know where she is, so you ask your coworker:
「ボスはどこですか？」 “Where’s the boss?”
Your coworker replies:
同僚はこう答えます。
“She’s gone to London.” ＝ 「彼女はロンドンに行きましたよ。」
これは、あなたの上司が出張中であることを意味します。彼女はロンドンに出張し、現在もロンドンにいます。
This means that your boss is on a business trip. She travelled to London, and she is still in London now.

“She’s been to London.”
友人から聞かれます。
Your friend asks you:
「上司はイギリスに行ったことがあるの？」 “Has your boss been to the UK?”
あなたはこう答えます。
You reply:
“Yes, she’s been to London.” ＝ 「そう、彼女はロンドンに行ったことがあるよ。」
つまり、あなたの上司は、人生のある時期にロンドンに行ったということです。今はもう行っていない。これは彼女の人生経験です。
This means that sometime in her life, your boss went to London. She’s not there now. This is her life experience.
“I've / she's / they've been to OOO”は、他のところを訪れた人生経験について話すときに使う言葉です。
This is used to talk about life experiences of visiting other places.
