Last week was Valentine's Day. To celebrate, here are some phrasal verbs with a romance theme: 


to fall for (someone): To develop romantic feelings for someone.
Example: She fell for him the moment they met.

to ask (someone) out: To invite someone on a date.
Example: He finally got up the courage to ask her out.

to break up (with someone): To end a romantic relationship.
Example: They broke up after being together for two years.

to make up (with someone): To reconcile after an argument or disagreement.
Example: They had a big fight last night, but they made up this morning.

Go out with (someone): To be in a romantic relationship with someone.
Example: She's been going out with him for a few months now.
