I finally got my hands on Akutagawa Ryūnosuke

Finding a good translator of classic Japanese literature is as tricky as finding a good tutor on Cafetalk. A few weeks ago, I found a good deal on the all-black edition of The Life of a Stupid Man--the globally acclaimed autobiographical stories from one of Japan's masters of modernist story-telling. Luckily, this edition is translated by Jay Rubin, one of the main translators of the works of Murakami Haruki.

My last read by a Japanese author was the wildly popular book: The Courage to Be Disliked by Ichiro Kishimi, Fumitake Koga

This is my first time reading Akutagawa-san and I am very excited!
