This is a question that many have not properly addressed in a clear way. So because of that, I will try to explain the answer to this question as clearly as possible.
What makes an English teacher to be a good teacher is not about what they know, but about how they teach the things that they know in a clear and understandable way while providing their students with the necessary time that is needed for them to practice their English, as well as about how they interact with their students in a conversational way.
Many can say that they are good at teaching English, but if they don’t have the correct knowledge that is needed to teach English in an effective way, if they don’t know how to correctly explain something in a clear way, if they can’t pronounce English in a clear way with the correct pronunciation, if they aren’t patient, if they aren’t kind, if they aren’t honest, if they are boring, and if they don’t give you the necessary time that is needed for you to practice your English in a conversational way, they aren't actually as good as they try to make you to think that they are.
But here’s another thing, to put all of the blame on a teacher for not helping you to become a good English speaker is also not a good thing, due to the fact that no matter how good a teacher is, if you are a person who’s not willing to do what your teacher has instructed for you to do, you will not become any better at all in any way.
As a student, you should always be pushing yourself as much as possible to speak in English as much as you can without putting any reliance on your own native language.
No matter how uncomfortable you may feel, no matter how bad you think you are at speaking, and no matter how hard it may be, you should never make an excuse for yourself for not practicing English in a conversational way on a daily basis.
And as for all of the questions that you may have about English, at most, you probably already have all of the answers to your questions, which you have never thought about before.
As a student, you have to stop looking for an easier way to learn English without studying, and make a commitment to yourself to do whatever it is that is needed to get yourself to become a better English conversational speaker.
If you are really serious about improving your English in a conversational way, feel free to request a lesson time with me.
Thank you.
